Benefits: I love using blueberries in my recipes. They are easy to cook with, really tasty, and great for your dog! Blueberries provide antioxidants, fiber and, phytochemicals. Who knew all of that was in one tiny ball of fruit?! Yogurt is also a great source of calcium, zinc, and probiotics. Flax seed also is great for your dogs and the best part is, your dog can’t even taste them! Flax seed have omega fatty acids which are good for your dogs coat. They also contain alpha-linoleic acid which offers benefits to your dog’s immune system. Alpha-linoleic acid also has an anti-inflammatory effect, so it might aid your dog if he shows signs of arthritis or other joint problems. Lignans in flax seed also contain antioxidants. Overall this is a great recipe that I’m sure you will use time and time again!
